- Payment
American Made Workshops warehouses a minimal amount of inventory. Most orders are custom built in-house per customer request. Because American Craftsmen are building for you, a 50% deposit is requested at time of ordering and the balance is due prior to shipping. You may purchase merchandise from this Web site by using any one of the payment options listed in (link to Payment Options). American Made Workshops reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you.
- Shipping & Delivery
- At this time, American Made Workshops ships merchandise only to locations within the continental United States and Canada. American Made Workshops currently does not ship to international locations or to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam or the US Virgin Islands. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.
Shipping
American Made Workshops ships most furniture and large orders "Standard Delivery" by common carrier. Smaller orders will ship UPS Ground unless otherwise requested.
Delivery
"Standard Delivery" is delivery to the front threshold of the home. The driver is not responsible for bringing the freight inside. They will not assist with the unpacking or the cleanup.
The carrier line will call to schedule a delivery time. Normal hours for delivery are Monday - Friday during normal business hours.
A signature will be required for delivery. Please inspect the packaging and product in its entirety before signing. If any damage is noticed to either packaging or product, notate the bill of lading and refuse only the damaged portion of the shipment. Notify American Made Workshops as soon as possible so the appropriate measures can be taken to replace the damaged order in a timely fashion.
A signature is acceptance of the product. Failure to follow the above delivery instructions releases American Made Workshops and each participating craftsman from all liabilities, including but not limited to any cost associated with replacement shipping and packaging cost.
If further assistance is needed, please inquire at origin of order. Additional services are available through the carrier lines for small fees.
Shipping and Delivery policies may differ from craftsman to craftsman. American Made Workshops can not be held liable for these circumstances.
- Sales Tax
- American Made Workshops charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped.
- Return Policy
- Warranties and return policies will vary between craftsman and need to be understood prior to ordering. Because the craftsman is building for you, all custom items require a 50% non-refundable deposit and are subject to be classified as nonreturnable.
In cases of receiving a RMA number, all shipping cost will be the responsibility of the consumer initiating the return.
